Cute! Cut the front door to one. Bookcases on either side of the fireplace. Uneasy about a heavy hanging bookcase above the sofa. Pin up lamps there, so people can read.

I ADORE THIS HOME!!!!!! Could a one Car Garage be added so that the side door was the entrance from Garage into house? Please answer. I’m super curious. I love an upstairs Master and Laundry. It’s absolutely gorgeous and I could live in it forever. Also, can a Basement be added?

LOVE THIS

Not keen on the exposed brickwork whitewashed in the kitchen. In fact the walls everywhere are white and I hate that aspect of the house. Nothing to make a place look non-cosy than white everywhere. I can see the designer has a thing for white though, even the flowers had to be white. I love the overall look of the house and the design of the rooms. Having that separate kitchen is something you don't see a lot of these days and I love it. Reminds me of growing up in the 1960's where everyone had a separate kitchen and the smells of the kitchen stayed in the kitchen. Unlike some of the designs I have looked at, this one has enough cupboard space for pantry items. I actually like the splash of teak cupboards with the light green drawers and cupboards underneath. I possibly would have got a green fridge to match the colour of the cupboards. White fridges are a dime a dozen - too many of them around. If there hadn't been enough cupboard space for pantry items, I would have used the toilet area downstairs as a pantry, but as there was enough room, the toilet at the back door is a good idea as it is a larger home. Not sure I like the back door with glass. For security and privacy reasons, I would want a full wooden door. There is enough light coming in from the windows where the toilet is. If you are walking from the outside you can see someone on the toilet. I would have not had the 6 panes in the windows but 4 and brought the ledge up so the windows are higher. I do like the staircase style but not the size of the stairs. As someone with issues with my legs, and knowing many have issues getting up and down stairs when they are elderly as well, I would have designed the stairs differently so that the full length of a person's foot can be placed on each step. Perhaps an overhang of the wood on each step maintaining the original steps so their full foot is on each step. I can see the dilemma of altering the steps themselves by taking out an alternative step as they are all pretty steep steps anyway. Yeah the only way is an overhang on each step so people aren't tiptoeing up the stairs. I love the upstairs bathroom but I did think it needed a glassed in partition area. Love the laundry and the space in the bedrooms and the walk in robes etc. Just not keen on all the white everywhere.

The two level, two material kitchen counter is aweful. And the video just jumps into the house. Didn't go in the door. Need some serious work, dude. $850 for plans. Way way overpriced.

Lovely little cottage, love the ceiling with the exposed wood, the open stair case is very comfortable. Love the upstairs bedrooms and laundry room. Again, less is more.

The house is a small wonder. The space is used well. (Small item, please add a door to the upstairs bathroom in the real home. 😉)

Hay que quitar la habitacion de dormir de abajo (falta sitio en la cocina y la sala de sofas), el pasillo y la ducha de la zona de abajo (con eso ganamos espacio y necesitamos un wc pero np dos duchas). Hay que pasar abajo el centro de lavado (sabes lo que pesa un cesto de ropa mojada di la quieres tender?) y el despacho pasarlo abajo (o duermes o trabajas las dos cosas en el mismo lugar es un suicidio mental). I know the fancy range hood is aesthetically pleasing. But it's too big for the kitchen... I tend to bump my head on those things. 🤔🤕 Otherwise great job 👍👍

👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Very nice! Only one must have missing and that is a proper coat closet at the front door. You could add drawers within the steps to accommodate shoes, scarves etc and hanging storage inside ( underneath) the stairs. Kitchen was especially nice with lots of counter space to cook and really good storage. Overall…..beautiful! 💗😊

With no master downstairs, this would not be a home we would be interested in. It is pretty and feels a bit cramped in the kitchen/dining space. With all bedrooms upstairs, it was best to put the laundry there, too!

Love it!! Too much white to keep clean. 2 floor to ceiling bookcases on either side of the fireplace. More storage, and the 3 different heights shown now look a bit weird.

The exterior is traditional and attractive, and with only minor tweaks, I could find this to be a comfortable and practical plan!

Love this house. Obviously this house was designed for somewhere other than Canada though. There are a couple of fairly glaring building code no, no’s that would have to change in order for this house to be legally built in this country with the big one being that garage. All attached garages here have to have a fire wall and a fire proof door between it and the remainder of the house. You could never have a garage with no door between it and the main floor. Besides most garages are not heated here and in the winter you’d freeze with no door.

Getting laundry, furniture, or yourself up and down those stairs would be too risky. And sure wouldn't want to have to use the bathroom at 3 AM.

How much would this cost to build?

Love ALL the sliding doors. Perfect for small homes! Also for the cupboards!! Kitchen is a bit small compared to the bedrooms 😢!? How about a French style home, with shutters outside 👏?

I love it ♥️, the living room w/ a field stone fireplace and a double face fireplace, the kitchen, the brick wall, the bathroom w/ a narrow brick wall, the floor design is awesome, the second bathroom w/ the narrow brick wall, love that design in that one bedroom and the other main bedroom, with a unique wall design is different and it brings the room out ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ a cozy outside room ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I like the floor plan very much on this 2 BR/2 bath home. What I don’t care for is how small all the rooms are. I would prefer a master suite with bathroom, 2nd bathroom closer to the 2nd bedroom but close to the living area. All rooms need to be larger, except the bathrooms.

I like the triangular traffic pattern in the kitchen (although in this instance the fridge door is backwards) as it is more efficient. The backdoor so close is a boon for gathering fresh food & herbs from a garden, and the bathroom by the door is handy for those times when we get a little too involved in gardening, so we can shower before tracking dirt throughout the house. One question though ... I see a lot of closed doors (not bedroom) but have no idea what they are for, Why can't you open the doors a bit to show us? Utiliy closet? - they're nice. Pantry - even nicer. Show us. Even a broom or a few cans, or a towel or two would give us the idea.

The small porch with two chairs outside the living room/entrance is not needed. I would extend the home forward, opening up the kitchen - it is far too small and cramped with the chairs seated around the island. Otherwise, it is very nice.

Very nice! How about a lamp, or 2 pinup lamps around the sofa to read by, and bookcase nightstands in the first bedroom? And, please! No glaring white kitchen! Don't want to constantly be wiping jam, smoke, fingerprints, and newsprints off the cupboards.
